It really irritates me when parents go off about things in front of their children. What I mean is like when they start yelling at a total stranger because the stranger did something they didn't like. For instance, yelling at a stranger who cut you off in the grocery isle. What's the point in that? All you do is make yourself look like a turd in front of your kids.
It also irritates me when parents go off on their children in public. As if public humiliation will suddenly correct your child's behavior...
I've been known on many occasions to walk up to people and say, "Hey, yell louder next time." It really irks them when you do that, but usually wakes them up to their ignorance at the same time.
